We encourage employers and the public to look up licensees using our licensee lookup tool or call our office to confirm licensure status. TBVME HISSA GUIDANCE: TBVME has been made aware of conflicts between the new federal horse racing laws, known as HISSA, and the TBVME Rules of Professional Conduct. In such instances, federal law preempts state law and rules. While TBVME is complaint driven and is statutorily required to investigate all complaints that are received by the agency, TBVME is aware of the conflict and will dispose of complaints where HISSA is involved accordingly. We encourage all licensees to follow the federal laws as they currently stand and the state rules to the best of their ability.TO SUBMIT PUBLIC COMMENTS FOR THE UPCOMING OCTOBER 18, 2022 BOARD MEETING: https://forms.gle/TMB7enh4vWEZou5FA OCTOBER 18, 2022 BOARD MEETING LIVESTREAM: Texas House of Representatives : BroadcastsThe Texas Veterinary Board will relocate its office on July 12, 2022.
